Privacy Policy

EasyBuy Rwanda (“EasyBuy”, “we”) runs the online shop at easybuyrw.com, the EasyBuy mobile app, the EasyBuy Seller Center and the EasyBuy rider app. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and phone number. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. We do not receive your Google password.
- Order details: the products you buy, delivery address, delivery location (map position) you choose or share, notes for the rider and the payment method.
- Payment information: for Mobile Money we receive the phone number used and the payment status from our payment provider. We do not store card numbers or Mobile Money PINs.
- Seller details: if you open a shop, your shop or company name, contact person, phone, Mobile Money number for payouts, TIN (optional), shop address and pickup location.
- Device information: a notification token if you allow notifications, and basic technical data needed to keep the service working and secure.
How we use it
- To create your account and let you sign in.
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including sharing the delivery address and phone number with the rider who delivers your order.
- To process payments and seller payouts.
- To send order updates and, if you agree, offers and promotions. You can turn promotional notifications off at any time in your account.
- To prevent fraud and keep EasyBuy safe.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed: with riders (to deliver), with sellers (the items ordered from them, never your phone number or address), with payment providers (to take payment), and with service providers that host our systems. We never sell your personal information. We may share information if required by Rwandan law.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open, and order records as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your details in your account, turn notifications on or off, and ask us to delete your account and personal information by contacting us. In line with Rwanda’s Law No. 058/2021 on the protection of personal data and privacy, you may also ask for a copy of your data or ask us to correct it.
Security
Your data is stored with industry-standard security, and access is limited to people who need it to run EasyBuy.
